PSHD releases notification for businesses exempted of lockdown.

Lahore, July 29, 2020: The Secretary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD) has issued the notification of exemption of the lockdown for businesses and trades to ease the traders and public on Wednesday. As per notification, all tailor shops, dry cleaners and laundry shops were allowed to operate their work from 6:00am to 12:00am with the assurance of following SOPs. Secretary (P&SHD) Captain (R) Muhammad Usman said that fertilizer companies are allowed to work with their own timings in order to view of timely use of pesticides fields. Currency exchanges have been permitted to operate their business for the sake of public interests to withdrawal remittances. Captain (R) Muhammad Usman further added that all exempted businesses which will remained open in lockdown, would be liable to adhere SOPs issued by Government of Punjab. Government’s first priority is to provide basic facilities of the general public. The purpose of the lockdown across the province is to stop the spread of COVID-19 due to gatherings. Coronavirus effect rate is gradually declining due to having precautionary measures. Government’s timely decisions and support of people of Punjab is helping to control this pandemic.
